Macalla to exhibit at Mobile World Congress 2008 in Barcelona
Dublin, Ireland: Macalla, leader and innovator in mobile payment solutions, has announced that it will be exhibiting in this year’s Mobile World Congress (formerly known as GSM World) in Barcelona from 11-14th February.
Macalla will be participating as part of the Enterprise Ireland pavilion in hall 1, stand no 1F17.
The Mobile World Congress (formerly known as 3GSM World Congress) combines the world's largest exhibition for the mobile industry with a new congress featuring the most prominent Chief Executives representing mobile operators, vendors and content owners from across the world. There were over 51,000 attendees at last year’s event with almost 1,200 exhibitors.
The Macalla Platform enables a wide range of innovative mobile payments services including, mobile wallet, banking, remittances, bill payment, top-up and cross border VAS. It is successfully deployed by banks, mobile network operators, payment intermediaries and service providers in Europe, the Middle East, Caribbean and Africa.
Product demonstrations of the Macalla Platform will include Remittances, Mobile Wallet and Mobile Top-up.
