Mobile Money Summit 2008 is for senior executives from financial services institutions, mobile operators, development organisations, solutions vendors and regulatory and policy makers. The inaugural event will provide for the first time a comprehensive demonstration of the addressable markets, showcase new solutions, and share key success factors and learnings from around the world. The goal of the Summit is to stimulate greater understanding and collaboration between all stakeholders — globally, regionally and locally.

The Mobile World Congress combines the world's largest exhibition for the mobile industry with a new congress featuring the most prominent Chief Executives representing mobile operators, vendors and content owners from across the world. There were over 51,000 attendees at last year’s event with almost 1,200 exhibitors.
Macalla will be participating in the Ireland pavilion in hall 1.
Product demonstrations of the Macalla Platform will include Remitances, Mobile Wallet and Mobile Top-up.
